\u00a0The Idiap Research Institute<\/a> announces the opening of registrations for the 14th edition of the Idiap Create Challenge, a nine-day hackathon dedicated to artificial intelligence. This unique event, in partnership with The Ark Foundation<\/a>, will take place from August 21 to August 29, 2025, at the Centre du Parc, located at Rue Marconi 19 in Martigny, within the Institute premises.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The Idiap Create Challenge is designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Selected participants will have the opportunity to develop functional prototypes in small teams, guided by mentors from Idiap and external experts. Throughout the nine days, they will benefit from targeted training sessions covering various topics, including the legal aspects of AI, how to prepare a compelling pitch, and inspiring talks from industry experts. Networking opportunities and social events with past winners and external companies will also be organized.<\/span><\/p>

At the end of the event, teams will present their projects to a jury of technical and business experts. The most promising projects may receive support for start-up creation.<\/span><\/p>

This year, Idiap is offering the opportunity for anyone interested to meet the talented hackathon participants, explore their economic potential, and connect with Idiap’s expert staff through the \u201cAspiring CEO\u201d role. Additionally, applications are open for those who wish to become mentors, whether they have technical, marketing, or both types of expertise.
